-I'm fairly perpetually annoyed with the minutiae of everyday life, but this doesn't necessarily preclude my being happy in more general terms.
-The following things make me squeal with glee: big words, learning languages, coffee, sociology, sarcastic humor, laughably cheesy 90s Japanese rock, Koosh balls, the zoo, Daiso, rats, putting things in little plastic boxes, azuki bean milk tea, my personal writing system, fellow childfree people, AS in-jokes, and hiding in bed under lots of blankets.
-I'd rather fling myself off a cliff than be trendy. People who refuse to think for themselves annoy the hell out of me.
-I'm a boot-to-the-face liberal fascist (as in, stop treating people like garbage, or I will fucking MAKE you stop treating them like garbage, you asshole)...I find both wishy-washy Everything Is Fine By Me Liberals and bigoted Tradition Trumps All Conservatives thoroughly exasperating.
-I come from a family that makes the people on "Malcolm in the Middle" and "Little Miss Sunshine" seem calm and functional.
